Battslide® Systems 25-35 provide Battslide's advantages to boats 35'. Sailmakers will appreciate the design detail of the fully adjustable batten receptacles for flat or round battens. The Battslide System 25-35 works with existing mast slides or slugs. Example installations can be seen here.

Between full-length battens, or for traditional short-battened sails, Schaefer's Battslide Intermediate fitting attaches easily to the sail and provides six way articulation to the connection between mainsail and track slide to reduce friction and ease sail handling. Stud shackles (#460 nylon or #461 stainless) with 10mm studs are used to connnect the sail to the mast slides.

Headboard reefing loads are handled with #844 headboard plates which use #461 stud shackles attached to Allslip slides or Battslide System slides.

New! Battslide® Track for boats from 30'-45' can serve as an easy replacement of existing or damaged sail track. It works equally well with Battslide and Allslip slides.

Battslide's new Mainsail Track System for boats from 30 – 45 ft. accepts 7/8” flat slides.  This is a simple way to replace worn or damaged sail track without re-engineering the sail. Key features of the new Battslide track are:

• “C” shape track protects internal sliding surfaces from damage
• Lightweight anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, pre-drilled for #10 FH fasteners on 3” centers
• Fits curved and flat mast contours
• Captive aluminum joints ensure track alignment
• Removable “track gate” for loading sail, usually installed 25” from bottom end to allow a low slide stack.
• Smooth glass reinforced nylon end stops

This system works with standard Battslide slides, part #803, and our intermediate fittings (#886, #888) working in conjunction with our headboard fitting #844.

Allslip slides also can be utilized and work well with our intermediate fittings.
